Best For The Baby
Wednesday, April 29th, 2009We all know that human milk is the most appropriate form of feeding for all infants including premature and sick newborn babies. That is why breastfeeding is practiced in most maternity hospitals. However, for infants who are not breastfeed and who are not weaned before twelve months, the use of infant formulas is recommended.
Currently, there are different formulas and milk being sold by different companies. Each company describe each of its products as having a desirable features to offer for infant and child development. These formulas are exempt from commercial restrictions imposed on infant milk to promote breastfeeding and ensure the proper use of breast milk substitutes. It is not surprising then that parents are confused about which is the best milk to use because of different infant formulas available in the market.
Therefore, we should consult a doctor/pediatrician who knows the difference between milk formulas and which milk can be recommended.
