After taking my payslip yesterday, I called up my boyfriend in his office asking him to go out shopping with me. He promised then to pick me up in my office after an hour. We decided to go to Kmart Department Store because this is located near our house.

We were surprised to know that discount coupons were offered at the store for promotion. I was excited because that time, I am planning to spend half of my salary in buying set of wardrobes to bring on my coming live-in seminar next week. I gathered number of coupon codes after buying different products mostly woman’s apparel. I never expected that I save my money from spending much through this promotion.

At home, I cannot wait to tell my sister to visit the store’s online coupon directory for her to also enjoy the discount they offer in shopping online.

As a mother of 3 girls and 1 boy, I am inclined to mold my 4 year old son based on his gender.  I am worried that my son fall to act like his sisters: soft and sensitive and his masculine gender might suffer.  I want him to understand what it means to be a boy or a girl so as not to feel confused about it.  I noticed that there are some instance that a boy with all girls siblings became gay, and a girl with all boy siblings became lesbian.  And I don’t want this thing to happen to my only son. 

My worry is common to many mothers raising boy surrounded with girls siblings. The environment plays a vital role in the development of boys, so with the girls.  During the early childhood years, boys learn about gender roles through socialization with family and peers.  Gender typing usually peaks during the early preschool years. 

So,as early as now, I want to monitor and mentor my son for him to know the difference between the two genders.  I tell my son that wailing just because of a minor scratch isn’t becoming of a man and that he has to show that he is strong and brave.  I encourage him to talk to anyone confidently because shyness has no room for a man.  If I see him fall or slip, as long as he suffered no major injury, I just encourage him to carry on.  And as early as now, I expose him to sports such as basketball and all other rough and tumble plays so that he will not be interested to play with her sisters playing dolls and kitchen toys.

I hope that with thorough and proper guidance, I will be able to raise my son as a proud gentleman in the real meaning of the word.

After ten years of saving money,my husband decided to have our own house. He said it is time to stop renting a house and look forward to buy our own. As I entered our front door, I found out that my husband and two kids did not bother to look at who opens the door.  They were busy and serious searching of something at our personal computer.  Out of curiosity, I came near to them to see what are they looking at.

My husband arrived home earlier last night.  He was so excited then upon knowing that his prospective buyer of a house and lot paid the said property in cash.  It means that he will receive his commission outright from his marketing manager.

Sometimes in the city it can be difficult to find parking. Even if you have a parking permit. I’m guessing parking permits are given out for a select number of people so the lot won’t be overfull, but sometimes you can’t find a spot regardless. I wonder if that is because expired permits are being used and just aren’t being noticed by those in charge of noticing. Wouldn’t it be better to have a parking permit that blinked when it was expired. It wouldn’t be that difficult nowadays, would it? Or what if it glowed to show you the parking permit was expired, that would be cool too.

As a student in college, I have my classmates who became my friends .  During vacant period, we have several activities in mind that we want to experience.  The last time we had no professor, we went on a shopping mall to window shop.  We were all amused at the display clothing stand.

At home that night, I remember what we did that morning at the mall and got the idea to search at the internet for the right clothing on different seasons.  There I found out different clothing for the whole family.  Plenty of cute coats and multiple layers of clothes are available at winter style guide.  In Autumn style guide where school’s back in session, super hot styles are offered.  I was attracted at the tiny floral print dresses which is always in on summer.  As the weather’s heating up, a complete summer style guide attracts my attention.
